National awards nomination for Econic Technologies

Econic Technologies is pleased to announce that Kelsey Lynn Skinner has been nominated for the 2018 Non-Executive Director Awards.

Organised by The Sunday Times and stockbroker Peel Hunt, the awards are intended to honour the often-unsung heroes of the boardroom – non-Executive Directors – who have made a significant contribution to an organisation.

Since joining Econic Technologies in 2013, when the company was at the earliest stage of its development, Kelsey has provided invaluable support, helping secure essential funding, developing a growth strategy and extending the shareholder base. Kelsey has brought essential sector experience to the company and is crucial in helping Econic realise its full potential.

Dr Rowena Sellens, CEO of Econic Technologies, commented: ‘It is great to see Kelsey nominated alongside a fantastic list of companies. Anyone who has had the pleasure of working with Kelsey will know just how much energy and experience she has brought to the role. Her contribution is highly valued internally, so it is great to see her hard work recognised nationally, too.

‘Kelsey has been integral to Econic Technologies’ growth and we look forward to continuing to work with her. As we help manufacturers across the world unlock the potential of carbon, Kelsey has played an essential role in helping us, as a business, unlock our own’.

Kelsey’s fellow nominees include: Elisabeth Stheeman of the London School of Economics; Wendy Becker of the Prince’s Trust; Lord Leitch of Bupa; Shirley Garrood of Hargreaves Lansdown; and Andrew Griffith of Just Eat.
